RISE is named after Rajeevi Shetty, a woman from a village that did not believe women should work. She became the only woman in her community to step out, take a job, and support her family through her own labour.

She did not ask for permission. She did not wait for the world to change around her. She simply rose.

RISE is not built from grief. It is built from legacy. Rajeevi Shetty proved that a woman from the most constrained circumstances can defy every expectation, and rise. RISE exists as a continuation of what she started.

Because millions of working women across India are still waiting for their moment to rise. Sometimes, all they need is their smile back.

RISE serves working women. Not retired women. Working women of any age who leave their homes every day to earn, to contribute, to build.

Why the distinction? Because a working woman needs more than her hands. She works with her presence, her confidence, her voice, her smile. She meets employers, clients, colleagues, strangers. She speaks, she negotiates, she sells, she persuades.

And when she has no front teeth, she stops doing all of it. She stops opening her mouth when she speaks. She looks down. She laughs with her hand over her face. She shrinks. She lives a suppressed life. Not because she is less capable. But because the world has quietly told her she is.
